Malai Kofta

Ingredients for 4 servings:
  • 250gms Cheese
  • 2 sweet white breads
  • 1 tea spoon baking powder
  • 1 table spoon cornflour
  • 2 cup cream (1 cup for filling and 1 cup for gravy)
  • 1 chopped green chilli
  • red chilli powder to taste
  • salt to taste
  • garam masala powder to taste
  • chopped cashewnuts
  • 2 Onion paste
  • Garlic/Ginger paste to taste
  • Tomato Puree
  • Few Raisins
  • Milk

How:
  • Make a dough using white bread, cheese, baking powder, salt and corn flour
  • Prepare a filling mixture by mixing cream, salt, red chilli powder, chopped green chilli, garam masala, baking powder and chopped cashewnuts.
  • Make flat balls using dough and fill in the filling between two balls to make a bigger flat ball.
  • Fry the filled balls.
  • Now for gravy, fry onions till brown add tomato puree and ginger garlic paste to it.
  • Fry till it leaves oil in the pan then add cashewnut paste, raisins, cream and milk.
  • Boil till the gravy thickens and then add spices as per your taste.
  • Put kofta in gravy 5 minutes before you serve.

Gajar ka Halwa

Ingredients:
  • 1 kg Grated carrot
  • 2 kg milk
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup desi ghee
  • nuts and dry fruit

How:

  • Boil milk in a pan.
  • Add grated carrot and nuts to the milk.
  • Let it boil till carrot absorbs all the milk.
  • Add ghee and sugar.
  • Stir it well till the mixture leaves ghee.
  • Serve hot with cream.

Chocolate Marble Cake

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups of maida flour
  • 2/3 cups of cocoa powder/1/2 a cup chocolate sauce
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 2/3 cups of butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 3/4 cups yogurt
  • 1 cup of hot water
  • 1+ 3/4 cups of sugar powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

How:

  • Seieve maida flour and sugar powder in a dish
  • mix them with with baking powder, baking soda and cocoa powder/chocolate syrup
  • Add salt, melted butter and yogurt
  • Add vanilla essence and hot water.
  • Beat the mixture for half an hour.
  • Apply oil at the base of a dish and sprinkle maida flour.
  • Remove the whistle and place the dish in a cooker on a sim flame for an hour and a half.
  • Serve hot with vanilla icecream.....
